The piece is about the amazing life of Alan Turing, the mid-twentieth century mathematician / codebraker / theorist who helped win World War II and invented the modern computer. We developed and presented this workshop with the Experimental Wing of the National Theatre of Greece last summer. Thanks so much to all our AnEn donors who made this possible!

The Turing Opera was written and directed by Eamonn Farrell and composed by Will Antoniou. The core creative performance and design team included Liz Davito, Jessica Weinstein, and Josh Hoglund, along with a lovely ensemble of opera singers and a sixteen piece orchestra.

We will be showing the new piece at the Olympic Theatre in Athens June 19th and 20th.
